Vehicle Detail
Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell wholesale vehicles directly to the public. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over what a retail dealer might ask for a similar vehicle. Before listing a vehicle on ebay, I personally road test it so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based on the findings of my road test. The information contained in this description is true to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic. Pre-bid inspections are welcomed and encouraged whenever possible. Vehicles are shown by appointment only. If you are a serious buyer, please email me to set up a time to meet at my storage facility. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. The vehilces I sell are local dealer trades and are sold "as-is". Unless specifically stated otherwise, I do not service or recondition any vehicle prior to sale. Please read the entire description and review all photos carefully before placing a bid or asking questions. Everything I know about each vehicle is included in my description. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a great looking Jaguar XJ6 sedan. Finished in a medium beige over light tan leather interior, this Jag looks good from any angle. I would rate the exterior condition of this Jaguar as ABOVE AVERAGE for its age and miles. Jaguars are known for paint fade and thinning over time but this one has aged very well compared to most and only shows minor fading on the tops of the mirrors. There are a few scratches on the right doors which you can't really see in the photos. The chrome trim is in great condition. The tires are like new all around. There is a small crack in the right tail light. This is an absolutely stunning Jaguar in great condition for its age. I saw no evidence of exterior rust! This car would look great in anyones garage. I would rate the interior of this Jaguar as ABOVE AVERAGE. The drivers door panel is a little loose on the bottom. The carpets are clean and full throughout. The leather seats are comfortable and are in excellent condition for the age. Both front seats are power adjusted. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work. The headliner is clean and fully in tact. The stereo system is all stock and sounds very good. There is a CD changer in the trunk. The climate control works as it should and the air conditioner will freeze you out of the car. The trunk is clean and spacious. There are no known electrical issues with this Jag! Everything seems to be working nicely and properly. This Jaguar is equipped with integrated garage door openers. I've sold a few Jaguars and this is one of the better older ones I've seen in a long time. I recently sold a 2000 with 80k and this one is cleaner in and out. Mechanically, this Jaguar appears to be in excellent running condition. The big 4.0L inline six fires right up and runs smoothly. I saw no leaks to report. During my road test, the engine kept a steady and cool temperature and held good oil pressure. There were no warning lights on. The engine is as smooth as silk and rockets this Jag to highway speeds without breaking a sweat. On the highway, she cruises nice and easy. The brakes stop the car well and with minimal pulsation under hard braking. The steering is tight and responsive. The suspension seems in decent order. Her highway manners are excellent. You can feel some wear in the lower bushings over bumpy city roads but it is minimal. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfectly. I am a huge fan of Jaguar XJ's. Having owned several, they have a certain feel about them that I can't quite put my finger on. Their looks have a lot to do with it. Sitting in the drivers seat looking down the long bulge in the center of the hood to see the running Jaguar at the nose definitely helps. What is more subtle about an English luxury sedan is that they are very powerfull and capable of ripping through a corner with the best, yet they feel completely composed and unrushed. Maybe it's a combination of all of it. The car looks aggressive and has the power to back it up. I have personally put about 600 miles on this car and would drive it anywhere without a second thought. Jaguar offers an unbeatable value in used luxury sedans I have experienced absolutely no mechanical or electrical issues with this car...ever. This appears to be a good one! Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
