Vehicle Detail

1992 SAAB 9000 turbo Black exterior w Aero wheels- 117k 5 speed Tan Elmo leather interior- Excellent shape- No tears, rips or stains I purchased this car about 7 month ago with the intentions of restoring and maybe passing down to my son, but unfortunately have had no time to do so. I was also unsure if this type of Beast would be appropiate for a first time teenager car, probably NoT... Way too fast... I'm sure he'd want to race the Honda boys and teach them a lesson, lol... I guess we all got lucky and he got my 04 9-3 ss Back to main topic, the car is currently NOT Running- I had it diagnosed and here's what I know 1. needs a fuel pump to run * also needs a passenger axle* * don't remember A/C blowing cold* The fuel pump gave out on me a few days after I purchased it, I never had a chance to fix it, so I never registered it and have only driven it around my community for only a few minutes. When it did run it was lightning fast as any 9000 turbo. Tranny is strong and so is the engine boost. The interior is in great shape. I have service records. This is a Florida car, mostly in the Orlando area last 10yrs but originated in PA/Washington state. Black original paint is still in good condition. No visible rust. I really hate to see it go since I had one of these back in 88 and it was a fast and fun car. This car needs to go to another SAAB enthusiast that has the time to fix the issues. These cars in this condition are very rare... I have may have a local buyer... Note: I wish I could answer all questions; like does any of the following work, cruise control, traction, cd changer,. Please let me reiterate and be clear in communicating to all that I havn't spend enough time with the car to know much. I have two 9-3ss, a 900 conv and a 9-5 that all take priority because they are daily drivers. This type of car needs to go to someone familiar with a 9000 and that has the time and can do the repairs themselves to not find themselves overspending time and money. If I had the time, believe me, I would get it back to running standards and enjoy it and then sell it for 2-3ks eventually. If it doesn't sell, then it its my destiny to keep it as an addition to my fleet. I just Do Not want to continue letting it sit abandoned... Sold AS IS in the West Palm Beach, Fl area.
