~ This Is A "NO RESERVE" Auction ~ High Bidder At The End Wins It! I've owned this unique "Pretty N' Pink" professionally customized classic VW Beetle for about 5 years now. I traded for it locally from a good friend I've known for most of my life. He acquired it from a storage wharehouse in Ohio. When I saw it, I was hooked! As for the title, I did not receive one but I was told one could be acquired. I'm a dealer, so I can put a dealer plate on it all is good. Also, I've had it garaged most all the time anyway. Although, I did have a thorough history check completed by our local clerk's office through the DMV and this car shows to have come out of Georgia. Also was completed a record check through the police department an all came back 100% clean & clear. I will provide the new owner with a clear bill of sale, but not a title. I do not know if this Beetle was originally a convertible. It's obvious the customization was performed by professionals. I would consider this Bug a sunny day only car. It does not have a top, wipers or side windows. The windshield appears to have been chopped, which really looks great. Whenever I would take this Beetle out for a drive and make it visible to the public, folks would stop by just take a photo. It gets an outrageous amount of attention! As for the overall condition, I thinks it's in pretty good shape, especially for a forty seven year old car. Of course, there's a few scratches, knicks, some minor rust and perhaps a hole or two (please see photos). The undercarriage looks pretty good except for just under the battery compartment where it is rusted out (please see photos). As for the interior, it's a tweed fabric material and the dark spots you see on the seats are from the storage wharehouse where something dripped on it from above the car, as I was told. When I first got it I cleaned a few spots and then quit. It's very possible a professional cleaning would make the interior look much better. This Beetle starts great, runs, shifts and drives but after setting a while, especially when first started, it usually smokes a bit. I have notice a few drips of oil on the floor directly below the engine compartment which I've been told is very common for these to leak a little aound the seal at the very bottom of the engine. I've owned several Beetles and I think all did the same. The only things I can recall having done to it mechanically was having a new brake master cylinder put on and new brake lines. The tires (215/60R15) have a decent amount of tread left (right rear has some wear on the outside) and appear to be in good condition. As for the odometer, I have no way of knowing if it is actual miles or not. As you can see, this is definitely "One Of A Kind" and a customized classic car that's not only something great to look at, but one you can actually afford to drive as well because this one is extremely cheap on fuel!!! Also, this includes pre-preparation, the vehicle being washed and cleaned again, along with at least a ¼ tank of fuel. High Bidder: High bidder is required to submit a non-refundable deposit in the amount of $1,000 in the form of a cashiers check, certified funds, bank-to-bank/bank wire transfer or other pre-approved funds within 48 hours of the auction ending and the remaining balance due in full within seven (7) days.
