Vehicle Detail
A very nicely preserved 1968 Chevy Longbed. I'm the third owner. The truck had a camper shell on it from day one until I purchased the truck. The wood bed is original and in nearly perfect condition except the holes where auxilary fuel tanks were installed. (I removed the aux tanks) The engine is original and in very good condition. The timing chain and cam were replaced less than 1000 miles ago. New front brake cylinders about two years ago. New seat cover installed. The truck was repainted also and looks very nice. The ball joint on the right front SHOULD be replaced. The windshield has a small crack(about 3") that has not grown in over two years. The engine is a 327ci with a 4 barrel carb. Power Steering, Power Brakes. Original build sheet is included. Factory tachometer, Factory AM radio, Manual 4 speed with granny gear. I love this truck and I'm selling only because finances are not what they used to be. The truck runs and drives very tight. Please don't bid if you don't have the money and don't bid without your wifes permission. Google "Beautiful 1968 Chevy Longbed" to watch a video if I can't get it downloaded here. Mileage is likely 138,000 Please call me if you have ay questions 405-250-5431. The truck looks better than the photos, bid with confidence. On Aug-13-11 at 16:50:47 PDT, seller added the following information: Original Build Sheet is included, This truck is a C20, sorry for any confusion. To view the walk around video go to "Youtube" (not Google) and enter "Beautiful 1968 Chevy Longbed" it should come up in the results. The truck was under coated when new and still retains a lot of the original undercoat. There is actually two build sheets, one that the second owner gave me and also there is an identical one that the factory placed between the seat springs and foam rubber when it was built. I discovered that build sheet when the seat cover was replaced.
