Rare-Original paint was Rio Red and Arctic White combination. 1958 Chevy Biscayne 2 door. Car has been in storage for 11 years, was running at the time it was put in storage. Car starts, motor sounds strong and does not smoke. This is an original Rio Red and Artic White two tone combination, paint code number is 973C. Style #58-1641. Body # K-3820. Trim # 803. It looks like it was a 6 cylinder 3 speed manual. Very few of this model car with this paint combination. You can see in the pictures red paint in the trunk and in the door jams. I took as many pictures as I thought would show the body condition. The exterior body is solid, and straight with no dents and maybe a few minor dings. There is only surface rust, no rust through at all. The rockers are solid. There are no chrome side moldings. In the interior the floor boards up front have been patched and are solid. The passanger floor boards and trunk as you can see in the pictures have surface rust. They are solid but they have some rust through. The car is in much better condition than the photos show. The lights and turn signals work, cigarette lighter works. I have an older radio might be the original. New vinyl interior had been installed and is in good condition, no tears in seats the headliner or the side panels, except for in the lowest part of the door panels. Engine replaced with a believed to be 1980 350 Automatic engine with 3 speed hurst shifter. The engine block # VO2019OMJ, 2 barrel. After adjusting the points and putting gas in the carb, the motor starts right up. It sounds strong and healthy. The oil in it is like new and the radiator does not leak. Odometer shows 72999 miles. The glass is in good condition except for a tiny knick in the passager side of the windshield and the driver door glass and vent need to be replaced.
