Completely read the description before bidding! This vehicle is in great condition for the age and the miles, however it does have problems. It starts and drives. Every single thing works inside and out, AC blows cold, 4x4 functions properly. Interior is in wonderful condition, only the cargo carpet has spots and stains. Tires have about 50% thread left. Very minimal rust, only from small paint chips and the battery mount, frame has barely any surface rust. The fuel pump been replaced 2 years ago. The problem is that the antifreeze is leaking heavily, it comes down on the ground in the transmission are, I suspect the freeze plug. The windshield is cracked badly. I could only drive the vehicle in town and around country side before the coolant would leak out all the way. I could not test it on a highway. It has been sitting for a long time. Overall, the Montero is a very capable 4x4 and would make a great project. Due to the condition of the vehicle, I believe it is worth fixing up or at least be used as a parts car.
