I have a 65 Chevrolet short bed for sale. I purchased this truck for resale from the owner in Greensboro, NC. The truck has a V8 engine wth power steering and air conditioning. The air was added several years ago and the compressor and lines will need to be replaced. The unit inside the truck comes on. The truck has had an aftermarket radio put in and the dash has been altered for that. The truck has an automatic transmission that has the shifter in the floor. The body has the usual rust in the lower fenders and there is some rust in the floor pans. In my opinion all of the rust can be repaired easily. The bed is in great condition. It has the orginial wood in the bed but of course it needs to be replaced. Overall this truck would be excellent to restore or to drive as is. I have only driven the truck about 3 or 4 miles so based on the prior owners statement of the condition of the engine, he said it was good however it has been garaged for a couple of years and will need to be freshened up before put on the road. He also stated the transmission changes good but sometimes you have to shift it manually by the shifter. He was told it needed a modulator valve. I will reserve the right to end the sale early due to having the truck forsale locally. Also please understand that we charge no documentation fees at the close of the sale.
