Auction is for a 1978 vanagon westfalia. I purchased it from an estate sale and just havent gotten the time to do anything with it. I recently purchased a mustang and really need the money to pay off most of my loan. It is in pretty decent shape with only a few tiny rust bubbles. All electrical seems to work EXCEPT the turn signals. I ordered a relay for them so hopefully that will be fixed soon. It had been sitting for a few years in a barn down the street from me and all I did was drain the fuel tank and put a new gas filter and fresh gas in it and it started right up. The idle rolls up and down for a couple of minutes and then runs fine. Has really good power for a vw. Shifts good going down the road also. The canvas top will need replacement or patched as it has a couple of holes in it. Also needs rubber weatherstrip around the pop up top. These parts are very cheap. I think the canvas top is around $400.00. The interior is in very nice shape except drivers seat (see pictures). It has 26,900 miles on it. Any questions....you can reach me at (586) 419-4938. Thanks for looking. Underbody and floor boards are in nice shape. Has an exhaust leak from the exhaust gasket and needs valve cover gaskets which are also pretty cheap to fix. Interior lights, sink,stove,etc all work. Radio lights up but no sound from speaker. Thanks again for looking
