I am selling my 2002 Sebring convertible. The body and in int is in nice cond. there is a small stich that is loose in the center of drivers seat. otherwise int and conv top is in excellent shape. paint is very good. no rust or pealing nice shine, The car has a 2.7L v6 automatic trans and all the power options. 144,000 miles. It will make someone a very nice car. The car was running fine unil I parked it for a month or so and the battery went dead. I put a new battery in and it would start and then cu toff, it did this 3 or 4 times and then would not do anything. I was told to try a new starter. I put a 200.00 starter with lifetime warranty on it .did not help. I have now found out that the little red light that is coming on on the dash means that the computer is in lock down mode because the battery went dead. and has to be reset by the dealer or a shop that can reset them.( If you do a google search on sebring dead battery car wont start,) you will see page after page of post about batterys going dead and then the anti theft light on dash coming on and the computer not letting it start until it is takin to be reset. I am setting the starting bid very low. I just need to sell the car I just got a 1971 Ford truck with no computers to worry about and dont need the car anymore , And I dont wont to haul it to a shop and pay them to repair it.
