Vehicle Detail
This show truck was completed in 1989 at a cost of $40,000. Less then 10,000 miles since built. 350 engine bored 0.30 over producing 300 hp. Turbo 350 transmission with B&N shift kit. Front axle 3/4 ton dana 44 Detroit locker rear with .410 gears. NP 205 transfer case. In addition to the painted leaf springs currently on truck included are chromed custom leaf springs for full 10 inch lift. Entire undercarriage is chromed with mirror mounted under bed. Black lacquer paint with House of Kolors wild cherry, oriental blue, and purple stripes. Custom Merlin the magician mural on tailgate by Bill Streeter. Power winch behind front bumper. Many custom touches. This was a frame off build and the truck has not seen the elements since so there is absolutely no rust. Presently there are no gears in the front differential so 4 wheel drive is not operable. Tires are flat spotted after 5 years of storage. Problem would probably improved substantially with use, however they should be replaced with a modern radial tire for a substantially better ride. The only issue I feel the truck has is due to the fact that it has larger than normal tires, steering blocks have been installed to prevent the tires from hitting the body and therefore turning radius is decreased. Has dual fuel tanks one of which needs cleaning due to old fuel, however the truck operates without issue off of the other.
