Also gone was the fuel guzzling 500ci, which was replaced with the all new Cadillac 425ci V8. This car also featured the super rare optional fuel injection. The car was repainted a gorgeous custom version of the original color and all emblems, locks, handles and body trim were shaved and filled for that sleek custom look. The paint is a few years old so there are a few small chips and blemishes throughout the car. There also is a good size dent on the passenger fender that may be able to be paint less dent repaired. The rear filler panels do appear to have been replaced when the car was repainted, so they are nice and have no cracks. This car is a totally solid, rust free Southern California car its whole life. The underside of the rockers, quarters, fenders, and floor boards are solid as a rock. The chrome is in good condition. The canvas top is very nice as well with no rips or tears. All of the glass is original and the windshield is crack-free. The car is riding on stunning 20" Staggered wheels with performance tires. They rides very true with no shakes even at 70mph. The Air Ride setup is pretty basic with manual switches controlling front, back and side to side motion and also a switch for pancake. The system is mainly designed to run on the tanks, and has a small compressor and tank for emergencies. The car gets up fine without the tanks, but is a bit slow. The lines are a good size for quick up and down motion. Even the switchbox is cool...Cheech and Chong Still Smokin! The interior is nearly all original and in excellent condition. Leather seats are all very nice with no rips. Door panels and carpet are all very nice. The dash has a few cracks down the center. We can also order a dash cap if desired. All of the rubbers throughout the car have remained in like new condition and are still very soft and pliable. Power windows, locks, seat, antenna, wipers, and defog work correctly. The custom sound system really sounds awesome and thousands were spent on quality Infinity equipment throughout. The pioneer touch screen Navigation system runs great and has Nav, DVD, and XM Radio. The rear screen also works great! The trunk compartment is in good condition and has all custom cardboard and custom carpeting which looks very nice. Also present is the rack and straps to hold the Nitrogen tanks. Mechanically, this Cadillac runs quite good! This car features the 425ci Cadillac V8. The engine starts right up and runs well. The transmission shifts smooth as well. The car does have a few small leaks as expected for 125k miles. The climate control will need servicing, but the compressor looks to have been replaced. I just spent over $1200 having the car serviced and the carb rebuilt. All in all, this is one nice Cadillac. Its classy orange frost paint gets compliments every time I drive it. It has been well maintained and truly loved by its previous owner. These 70's era Cadillac vehicles are becoming more and more collectible as the older ones disappear into collections, especially well maintained, super low mileage, California cars like this.
