Vehicle Detail
Solid car! This car has only been owned by 2 other people and the second owned it for 25 years. It was used on Sunday's for church and 2 parades a year. It has been garage kept ALWAYS. After the gentleman passed I bid on the vehicle at an estate auction and won. I don't have the time nor the knowledge to make this my project car. The paint is in great shape and could use a buffing. I put some wax on it and it glowed! Can't imagine what would happen if you buff this car. The leather is in great shape and needs a good cleaning. I conditioned it, but did not clean. Everything in the interior is original INCLUDING the am radio which still works! It runs super. Starts right up and idles smooth. New hoses, wires, and plugs. Brakes and tires good. This thing is literally road ready and if you want something that will be of more value after working on it, you have found it. I am looking to get rid of the car, not to make money on it. If you are into working on classics and have the ability, you will be able to flip this car and net 7-10K. I have never seen one of these with under 79k miles. This car has under 39k!. Below are some of the things that are wrong or needs to be worked on: *Chrome-It does not have pitting, but bumps. Some elbow grease and steel wool will have the chrome looking great. *Body-1-5 rating...it is a 4. Couple spots that need to be sanded and painted, but solid. One spot under the gas cap seems to have been redone, (3"x 5") *Carpet-New carpet is waiting to be installed. That will be the new owners deal. I have the carpet, just put it in! *Top-top is in great shape accept for one 3" tear at a corner. IT DOES NOT LEAK, but it is noticeable. *Interior-Dash board chrome/knobs need to be refinished. Looks good, but trust me it will look awesome if you spend time cleaning this up. Dash itself has NO CRACKS! Happy bidding and driving!!
