1984 Dodge Ram Charger, 150 Royal SE, "Prospector" edition. Two wheel drive. 360CI V8 (5.9L) with an automatic transmission, power steering, power disc brakes, cruise control, air conditioning, power windows, electric locks, running boards and west coast mirrors. This Ram Charger has been used as a daily driver by a mature lady since new and has never been smoked in, abused or molested in any way. Preventive maintenance has always been performed on a regular basis and other repairs made when needed. Currenty the odometer reads a little over 159,1XX and those are original miles. The engine and transmission have never been opened up and the engine sounds as good as new and the transmission shifts as it should. The body for the most part is straight with the exception of a few door dings and hail dings as one would expect on a car of this age. There is through rust in the following areas low in both quarter panels, left rocker panel, and low in right front fender. In my opinion the rust areas could be repaired with patch panels and no complete panels would be needed. The floors and frame are very solid with no through rust. All of the exterior trim is very nice including both bumpers and grill area. The hood ornament is missing. A quality heavy duty hitch is mounted to the rear frame. All of the glass is excellent. The entire interior is excellent from top to bottom with the exception of one hole in the driver seat (smaller than a dime), and a hole worn in the carpet were the drivers left foot would ride. The wheels are American Racing brand with a near new set of Firestone tires with less the 4,000 miles on them and a new spare. Currently the the A/C does not work due the compressor being locked up and the cruise control does not work. Other than that , this is a running driving Ram Charger which has many miles of driving pleasure left in it. I have tried to describe this old Ram Charger to the best of my abilty but have probably missed something that you would like to know, if so, just ask. If you are close and would like to inspect the car in person again just ask and arrangements will be made. There are so many possibilities for this vehicle, drive it as is, restore it back to its original beauty, or build it into a street rod or low rider, regardless, the winning bidder will not be disappointed.
