The original 450 motors that Honda built were JUNK!!! and the one that came out of this bike was no exception and blew up long ago. Honda knew they had screwed up royally, so in '82 they went to this 480 4-speed engine which was WAAAAAAAAAAYYY better. This engine put in this bike makes it race-able and fun to ride. Original rear suspension actually works great. Nice original pipe, silencer, and tank. This bike also has Honda's SUPERB 43mm Showa front forks and '83 dual leading shoe front brake. This bike will stop right NOW. Comes with new Renthal bars, dog legged levers, Oury grips, Maier plastic, newer tires. This is a great bike for the money.These are 30-40+ year old vintage dirt bikes. The original manufacturers didn't warranty them when they were new, so neither will I. Every used vintage dirt racing motorcycle, whether it has been restored or not, will ALWAYS need SOMETHING adjusted, tweaked, modified, replaced, repaired by YOU before you ride or race it. Since no bike is perfect, please be reasonable and understand this before bidding. Mileage is unknown therefore I am just guessing as to accuracy.
