1982 Honda Gold Wing

You're bidding on a 1982 Honda Goldwing 1100 GL Interstate. NO RESERVE! The bike is in very good condition and I use it every weekend. The bike has all original parts. Some like the mirrors, I bought on e-Bay along the years whenever I saw an original part that looked better than the one I had on my bike. I'm the second owner and have had it since 1997. The color is not original. I had it painted right after I bought the bike in NC to as close as the original color as we could get. The result is a more Ruby red than the original burgundy. There are a couple of paint marks shown in the pictures which occurred during the years. One is in the right hand side, slightly to the front of the tank. It's a chip mark that went through the red paint but not through the 3 coats of prime we had on. it's approximately 1/2" ling. The other is on the front fender which was hit by a pebble sent by a truck on the road. The engine runs smootlhy and I shot a video. Contact me if you want to hear it. The engine's lef hand side front bolt tapped hole is broken, and it's been like that since I bought - no effect on the bike. Tires have about 6,000 miles on them, you can see deep ridges in the pictures. Battery is new (3 months old). The bike's seat is original, it has been re-upholstered with black leather (see photos). Both exhaust pipes are original and in very good condition. You can see some acid drop from the battery on the left pipe. The bike will come with original tools and bag, although the bag is in poor condition (see pics). I'll throw in an original Mechanics Maintenance Manual to the lucky buyer which I also bought on e-Bay many years back. This is the Manual that Honda dealers use for their repairs. It's complete with diagrams, list of parts, pictures, etc. I will also add the sliding back-rest (not shown in pictures) that came with the bike but that I removed and saved. I have also other spare parts. This bike has a lot of miles to go. I'm selling because I've always had it garaged until recently when I bought a 3rd car, so I had to put the bike outside and I know this will not be good for her.
