Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a seventies survivor. She, (Edith) the cars name, is a 1974 Cutlass Supreme with only 23,000 original miles. That may be hard to believe but if you could see her up close it is easy to tell. I am not the original owner, but the best i can tell is that she has never seen a salty road. Most of the bottom of the car still has the undercoating offered back in that day, and the places it is missing the rust is minor enough to remove with 2000 grit sand paper if you know what i mean. The factory coating in the trunk as you can see in the pics is in perfect shape to. The carpet, dash, headliner and all the rest of the interior are original and I would grade them a 9.9 out of ten with the exception of the seat bottoms. They need to be recovered. Other than that they are nearly perfect too. O' I almost forgot the 8 track player works great and i will include a case with the sell. Under the hood is very orderly as well, not a bunch of wires going all over the place. She has a 350 rocket engine and a 350 turbo Trans. The power train starts up and runs like new. The engine has some weeping (very little) from the valve covers and the trains occasionally weeps a little. The engine has some rust as one would expect from a almost forty year old car. She drive like she came off the lot yesterday, mostly because of her low miles, but also because of all the love I have given her. I will list all those things below. Finally lets talk about the exterior. Edith has never been wrecked so she is very strait. I did accidentally pump her into a helmet I had hanging on the wall in my garage causing a small ding on the left front fender. The stainless is in great shape for her age and the bumpers don't look bad either. She was painted about two years ago so she looks pretty good. The only thing that doesn't work on the car is the A/C. All you need to finish getting that up is a compressor. In the three years I have owned the car I have completed or had the following work completed:PaintSandblasted and repainted rimsTiresShocks and springs all aroundFull exhaust system with ceramic headers and flow master mufflersNew stainless beauty ringsBalljointsHoses and BeltsPlugs and WiresBatteryWaterpumpRebuilt CarbComplete distributor change (changed for points to electronic ignition)I'm sure I left out something. If I think of it I'll add it later.
