Thanks and good luck bidding! 1985 Volkswagen Golf GREAT Condition 1 Owner from California 70,XXX miles and counting... 4 Door 3 Speed AUTOMATIC Shifts Great This car can be driven daily or stored in a garage. Still keeps time on the clock the radio also works. BASICALLY EVERYTHING WORKS ON THIS CAR.-Both front and rear windshield fluid washers work.-Headlights are very good.-Brakes feel great.-Transmission shift very smoothly.-Power Steering feels great.-HEAT BLOWS HOT and all fan speeds work.-Mirrors are still adjustable from the inside of the car-The sunroof rolls up and down great and I believe it is still seal quite well.-Interior hood latch works good and the engine compartment looks fairly clean-The car is quiet and runs smoothly. As for the interior, it is probably a 9 out of 10. It looks great, and only has a few spots that need attention. (It is 26 years old)The headliner is sagging in a few places, and there is some rubbing and what not where the sunroof control handle is located. Car still has floor mats, owners manual, and hub caps!!! THE TIRES LOOK ALMOST NEW! Car would make a great collectors item or daily driver. It runs and drives great! Engine runs great and it will do 70+ MPH on the highway if you want to. Here are the only bad and quirky things I know about it:The paint has some cracking to it that is hard to see from the pictures. This cracking is mostly located on the sides of the car, but from what I was told, is fairly typical of a 26 year old paint job.There is a dent or two in the car, but nothing that major. The A/C blows, but it is not cold. However, it does have an A/C and all the parts are there.The head liner is sagging in the rear and a little bit in the front.Sometimes when you try to start the car it will make a grinding noise. I am not exactly sure what the noise is from, but the car will start upon trying again and maybe some movement. However, it doesn't happen that much in comparison to how many times you start the car.
