Vehicle Detail
Up for auction NO RESERVE! A very rare 1973 Ford Ranchero GT Q-Code with a 351c-4V Cobrajet Engine, C-6 Automatic Transmission, Power Front Disc Brakes, Factory Tachometer, Factory Competition Suspension, and Dual Exhaust. Comes with the Marti Report with data from Ford to prove authenticity. A very rare combination to have a GT model with a Cobrajet 351c-4V engine. There was only 158 produced with these paint and trim codes. This Ranchero GT Q-Code was ordered with the following options: * Bright Red Paint * Black Ruffino * Vinyl Bucket Seats * 3.25 Ratio Traction Lok Axle * C-6 Cruise-O-Matic Transmission * G70x14 Belted Raised White Letter Tires * Power Steering * Power Front Disc Brakes * Bumper Rub Strips * AM Radio *Tinted Glass * Visibility Group * Competition Suspension. Here is a list of the most recent work performed: * New Edelbrock Performer 4-Barrel Carburetor model 1407 with 750 cfm * Edelbrock Performer intake model 351-4V * Spark plugs * Distributor Cap and Rotor * Wires * Points and Condensor * Fuel Pump * Fuel Filter * Fuel Sending Unit * Reconditioned Gas Tank * Edelbrock Signature Series Chrome Valve Covers and Air Cleaner * Oil and filter change with Valvoline Full Synthetic Oil * Transmission Service with new filter, gasket and fluid. * New Carpet Vehicle does have rust around the rear bottom corner of the quarters and on the inside of the bed (see pictures), underneath the car looks good, Interior is in really good shape, seats, headliner, sunvisors, all in great condition and the dash has one crack. Carpet is new and it looks gray in the pictures but it's actually black and looks beautiful. Body is straight with some minor dings, scuffs, chips, scratches. These things are to be expected of a car 38 years old. The sides of the body are straight as an arrow. Front and rear chrome bumpers have some rust, pitting, and peeling. The front windshield has one small minor chip that is very hard to see, other than that all the glass is in really good condition. There is a small transmission leak and it appears it is coming from the shift lever selector. Other than that the vehicle does not drip a drop of anything else. This Ranchero runs and drives out beautifully and it can be a daily driver for someone while at the same time being a very collectible car that will appreciate in the years to come.
