Vehicle Detail
VIN: 124679N635427 Selling my 69 Camaro Pace Car because I just inherited a 69 Firebird as a family heirloom and have to make room for it. The car is in Fallbrook, CA, but I have it registered in Oregon because I am a military nonresident stationed in CA. I bought it from a guy who had the car in Arizona for about 20 years (that's what he said). I drive this car regularly and it has never failed me. Twice on 100 mile plus trips. It has proven to be very reliable and quite a head turner and is fun to drive. Starts right up, unless it hasn't been driven in awhile, then it takes a little extra cranking but always manages to fire up. Since I have had it the last two years, I have put on new shocks, new headlight actuator motors (so the headlight doors work!), emergency brake cable, and a new gas tank and sending unit. I also have the orange top boot for the car, a replacement cowl induction kit (if you want to install it), replacement top boot clips, and replacement drip molding clips - if you want to put them on. I also purchased new locks and keys that I haven't installed yet, mainly because I never have the car anywhere that I need to lock it up. Basically, the guy I bought it from didn't tell me that he didn't have the keys to the doors, and I forgot to ask. So I bought a complete set of locks and keys (doors, trunk, glove box, and ignition). You will get them when you buy the car. The car has a 12 bolt rear, a TH400 transmission, and a non-matching number 350 cu inch engine. Overall, the car is in great condition and is price very fairly according to the condition using NADA guide criteria. Do not expect this car to be perfect! If it was, it would be selling for tens of thousands of dollars more - maybe even twice as much. I have tried to discount the price based on the condition of the vehicle. There are a couple of small spots in the paint where it looks like rust bubbles are coming through. I tried to show it in the pics, but it is hard to see. There is a blemish on the top of the rear seat that was there when I bought the car, so I'm not sure what happened. The left rear taillight is missing the middle chrome bezel - I think that's what the part is called. It's actually hard to notice and you probably couldn't even tell if the bezel was taken off of the right side taillight. Here is some of the trim tag info: ST69 12467 NOR 317032BDY TR720 50 A PNT 04C Z11 This is not a clone or a tribute car. This is an actual Z11 Pace car, for as best I can tell. Please send me any questions you have and I will do my best to answer them the best I can. I would highly recommend that you come see the vehicle in person so you can see it for yourself.
