Howdy! Please check my feedback and bid with confidence! You are bidding on a very clean, very original, numbers matching, low mileage 1971 Triumph TR6C motorcycle in excellent condition. I traded an old BMW for this nice little Triumph thinking I might turn it into a street tracker. But, after looking this thing over, it's WAY TOO ORIGINAL to be tampering with, at least in my opinion. Granted, I have owned a lot of Triumphs over the years, but most of them have been 1970 or older, so, I'm no expert on this bike. If anyone would like to add to or make corrections to my description, I will be happy to post it below in the question/answer section as I want everyone to have the best information they can get. If someone has a Buy It Now offer, I will try to add that to the auction. I will be taking many more photos of the bike over the next couple of days and adding them to the auction. I also plan on getting some videos of it running as well. I just put up the four photos that I already had, but they do a good job of representing the condition of the bike. As you can see, it is all there and from what I can tell, it's all stock, including what I think might be the original tires! It looks to have all of the original Lucas wiring and switching, I believe even the cables are stock, at least some of them. The paint is original even though it has a few scratches and dings. The bike is just a little treasure for fans of the early oif Triumphs. If there is something you would like to see in particular, I will be happy to take a detailed photo of it and e-mail it to you directly. My wife literally just gave birth to my second child today at 11:10 am, so, as you could guess, I have been a little preoccupied! I hope to have some videos of the bike running tomorrow as well. The bike starts up easily and runs, rides and shifts great with no smoke or funny noises. Also I made a mistake on the mileage. I was guessing it at 8,000, I knew it was low, it's actually 10,000 a little higher. I photographed the mileage in the new photos. On Jul-30-11 at 14:16:44 PDT, seller added the following information: I finally got a chance to get a video of the bike start and running, the sound isn't the greatest and I apologize for that, but I think it will give you a good idea of how well it starts and runs. The idle was a bit high, so the carb could stand to be adjusted a tad, but when it warms up, it comes right down to a nice idle.
