Up for auction is a 1982 Ford Mustang GLX. I bought this car from the original owner who the car brand new in Maryland. The car is highly optioned with power windows ac power locks tilt wheel premium sound, factory amplifier alloy wheels, sunroof and leather seats. This car has every option that was available in 1982. I have the original window sticker sales brochures and maintenance receipts. The car drives and shifts flawlessly. The motor and transmission were professionally rebuilt in 2005. I have a 4,000 dollar receipt to prove it. There are absolutely no issues with this car period, you can get in the car and drive it cross country with no problem. Everything on the car works including ice cold ac. The car does not burn a drop of oil between oil changes. The car also still wears it’s factory trx tires. The exhaust is brand new with new factory cats and new stainless steal flow master exhaust with ford racing headers. The car also has a rpm performer intake and edelbrock carb. It has a k&n air filter and msd wires. The brakes and shocks were just replaced last year. The interior is flawless and shows little signs of wear for the age. The leather is in great shape and the dash is crack free. The car still has the factory floor mats and original sunroof bag. The car also has the original radio that works flawlessly. The body is in great shape with very little rust. The car was ziebart from the factory so underneath the car looks great. There is some minor rust near the sunroof and on the back quarter panel. The car does have stone chips hear and there and is not perfect. The car has never been hit and wear all its original body panels. The GLX came with lots of chrome trim and it is all in excellent shape. This car is an excellent driver and I get complements every time I take it out. This not a show car but definitely a very nice cruiser. If you are looking for an unmolested original car where everything looks and works great this is the car.
