1969 MERCURY MONTEGO This is a barn find Original---Virtually no rust Texas car. Car is a premium example for restoration or just driving as is. Almost all the original parts and trim are still with the car and in good to excellent contidion (front seat torn). Car includes original radio, optional power disc brakes, automatic transmission, new muffler and exhaust work, new thermostat and housing, new gas tank and cap. Car starts and runs well. The car may need some basic attention in order to be used as a daily driver. I am not selling the car with any promises or implied warranties. This is a sensational find for someone who wants an easy restoration. First of all, the car is 95% original and complete. The floor pans and rockers are virtually rust free. A little minor rust is found in the lower rear quarters and that is it for rust repair. The vynil top is thought to be original and where you would normally see rust-though to the trunk-none. I will be displaying the car locally For Sale this week-end so if the reserve is met locally I may have to sell early. I expect to run the course of the auction though.
