I am selling this for a friend. He had seen one of these restored one time and thought it was pretty neat. He saw this one in someones yard and inquired about it and eventually bought it. It is a 1954 converted by Henny coaches into the ambulance model(professional car). The idea was that he would restore this one, but has since decided he needs garage space more than the project(it's pretty big). The previous owner had rebuilt the motor and front end, and said that he had driven it a lot in the past, but had let the car sit for the last several years. The engine runs and sounds great-it is the 288 cu inch staight eight. the trans and clutch work well also. For some reason the brakes have gone away, and are currently not working. The car is complete I believe with the exception of a radio and a hubcap or two. The widshield has a crack- but the ultra hard to find quarter windows are nice. We were told that there were just 200 of these made, and that Henny went out of business in 1954 right after building these. Imagine the looks you could get with this thing!
