Here is your chance to own a 1958 Corvette convertible, one of only 9168 produced that model year. Car has a 327 cubic inch small block with 2-4barrel carbs. Turbo 350 automatic trans, although the car was once a 4-speed evidenced by the factory cutch linkage bracket still on the frame. Hardtop only, no soft-top. The factory front end has been modified to a 1-piece tilt design. The trunk lid has been shaved of all chrome, lock and emblem, is now opened by a cable release in the glove box. Car has recently had tune up, wheel bearing pack, new front and rear shocks, all new metal brake lines,traction bars, american racing wheels and dunlop tires. Car runs and drives well, although is jetted too rich for the high elevation here. (over 5000 ft elevation). Paint job is recent, what I would call a 20 footer. Car is not too far modifed to give an original restoration if so desired. Would make a great retro-gasser drag car, or just drive it and enjoy it as is.
