Vehicle Detail
Hello, Up for sale is a 1979 Camaro with a 305 engine. The reason for selling is because I no longer have the time to work on this car. I have a job and am a full time college student. So my time is limited. This is a project car I purchased about a year ago, it was in horrible shape, not running well due to the engine needing work (Which I have doen), torn up interior and rusted. Now it is not as bad... most of the problems have been fixed however it is still a project because it needs to be finished. I just dont have the time to finish it. The engine all though does not look that great on the outside it has been rebuilt. Engine was taken apart, I degreased and cleaned it. Previous cam and lifters were in absolutely horrible shape, So I purchased and installed new lifters and a Summit Racing Cam shaft. New gasket set, and freeze plugs were also installed. While the engine was out the whole front clip was removed and the interior of it was painted. The front end of the car was pressure washed and scrubbed down to get as much of the dirt and grease off as possible. The interior has a new carpet, and seat covers for the 2 front seats. all the original upholstery on the seats were torn up, so it was all removed. Car does come with the 2 front seats no upholstery but still have the foam attached and seat covers placed over the foam. Dash, Dash cowl, and all interior trim look as if they were originally red, but previous owner looks to have painted them flat black, some of the parts could use a repaint. AS you can see by the pictures this car is still not fully assembled that is why I list it as a project car, it needs someone to finish the assembly. I am still working on the car as much as I possibly can, everyday I try to re-install some of the parts, but the more I re-install the more work I am putting into it, the less negotiable on the price I am going to be. I am however planning on putting the entire front clip back on with in the next 1-2 weeks, unless someone wants to buy the car then it will be sooner. The camaro comes with 2 hoods. One is the standard original hood that has been premiered and the other has a hood scoop. It has been partially sanded but that is all, needs to be finished sanded and painted. Please look at the picture carefully and feel free to contact me with any questions that you may have. THIS IS A GREAT PROJECT CAR FOR SOMEONE WITH SOME FREE TIME AND I AM OPEN TO ANY OFFERS! PLEASE JUST SEND ME AN EMAIL.
