1970 AMC Rebel Machine, built Dec '69. This is a parts car, which is obvious, but that is not to say some determined fellow couldn't rebuild this Machine back to its' former glory. About 2300 of these were built: the first 1000 were white with the red/blue stripes. After the first 1000 the color scheme was a $75 option. About 1300 total red/white/blue cars. VIN decodes to a 4 speed manual. The "Y" in the VIN denotes a true 390-4v "Machine". What you see is what you get. The floor and trunk are rotten. Axle, engine, trans, seats, hood all gone years ago. I tried to track them down but they are lost forever. However there are many usable parts: dash, cluster, column, front anti-sway bar, bumpers, glass, stainless window trim, interior panels, wiper arms, front inner structure, headlight buckets + fill plate, rad support, door handles, rear plastic ends L+R of trunk, hood hinges, wiper motor, steering linkage/pump, door hinges, window cranks x4 etc. The 3 VIN numbers read clearly. *** Additional info: We can get a clear title (from Ontario, Canada) generated for this car, if required, for around $40.
