So please read the listing!!!!!! ON THIS AUCTION THERE WILL NOT BE A BUY IT NOW DETAILS [TOP] 1995 Nissan Pathfinder SE 4x4 You are bidding on a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder SE 4x4. This vehicle has its clear positives and clear negatives to it! This vehicle has 130,632 miles registered on the odometer. It features a sunroof, cassette player and the all important to us in the North, 4 wheel drive! This vehicle has Air Conditioning which blows VERY COLD after the vehicle gets the compressor running for a minute or two. There is cruise control, power windows and power locks on this vehicle. The power windows were quite slow which is sometimes a sign that a motor may need to be changed sometime in the future. From the driver's controls it is a bit tough to get the passenger window back up but with some wiggling it will. The passenger's controls work flawlessly. All power locks were very responsive and functioned. The automatic transmission was very responsive with firm shifts from first to second. The 3.0L V6 engine ran strong! The engine started right up with no hesitation. It idled high at about 1000 RPM after sitting for 24 hours which is normal. After it reached ideal operating temperature the engine idled flawlessly where it should. The engine was also very responsive when tested through revs of about 2500 RPM the engine would shoot right back down and idle as before. This vehicle features a tricky anti-theft system which caught us off guard. The alarm blared until the key was placed in the "on" position. We are not sure how to arm the alarm but the previous owner seemed to have no problem with arming it! Running boards on this vehicle look to be fairly new as they are in great condition! They supported 140 lbs easily with no creaking, cracking or otherwise scary behavior. Looking under the hood we were able to determine the following: The vehicle needs a new air filter, the brake fluid appears to be fine, the oil is low and dirty, the antifreeze reservoir and radiator are filled to where they should be and are very green! New accessory belts were added in 2008 approximately 20,000 miles ago, new plugs wires and fuel filter were also added at that same time. It appears a new timing belt and thermostat were also added sometime recently. The condition of the vehicle is in good cosmetic condition. There are some dents, scratches and paint missing on this vehicle which appears to be from common use. The hood's clear coat is peeling as well as the passenger's fender. The rear bumper's color has faded and it does have some dings. The spare tire's zipper is very difficult to unzip! The interior is surprisingly in very good condition! There are some stains in the carpet on the passenger side and in the rear of the vehicle. There are no tears or rips in the seats! There is an interior bezel missing on the roof of the vehicle by the dome light. The headliner is not sagging! The suspension feel great! There are no creaks or signs of strain with the suspension. The brakes stopped the vehicle with no squealing, pulsing or any other problems. The brakes were independently checked; it is unknown how much of the pads remain. Here are the obvious negatives of this vehicle which will be listed below: One tow hook is missing, the negative terminal cover is missing, an air intake hose is disconnected, the tires are dry rotting and it was difficult to locate the D.O.T. number, the rear differential and the transfer case is leaking. The frame is in very sketchy condition! The owner seems to think that the vehicle's frame will prevent the vehicle from passing PA's state inspection. Parts of the frame are crunchy and heavily rusted which will be shown in the photos. There is also an exhaust leak which also may prevent this vehicle from passing inspection. We are not certain where this leak is, but while under the vehicle it appears that there was a previous repair on the y-pipe. The y-pipe appears to have a piece of flex-pipe and some hose clamps which may be the cause of the leak. Three keys are included with this vehicle as well as the original owner's manuals. This vehicle's inspection is due at the end of JULY (this month); the owner is not certain that this vehicle will pass in its current condition. It does need some frame work! All in all, this vehicle will not be for everyone; it does need a bit of work so it can pass inspection. But if you are one of those people with the desire to follow through for the repairs, you are getting one great vehicle. These Nissans will run and run until there is a piston through the block!
