Selling this non-running 740 because I cannot get it running. Prior to deploying last fall I put a new head gasket and water pump in this car. It ran fine when I parked it and I tried to sell it while I was gone, the only reason I still have it is because my "help" fell through. I came back six months later, installed a new set of locks and ignition switch (the original key got lost), and a new battery and she fires right up and I drive it around the block a few times and let it warm up. While it's idling in the drive way it dies and I have not been able to get it to run since. When it died, it had working a/c and the trans shifted nice and the motor ran smooth. In my futile quest to get the car running I have replaced the following items: crank position sensor, battery, coil, ignition module, fuel, pump, plugs, cap, and rotor. The only code the car is throwing is a 2-2-3 which is for a bad cold start injector which supposedly does not cause the no start. It has spark and fuel, it just wont run. This would make an excellent parts car as it had a great motor and trans and many good body parts as well as all the stuff I replaced. All I am trying to get out of it is for the parts I put in. The car has a clear South Dakota title. Mileage in unknown as the speedo has been changed a few times. If I get it running before this auction closes I reserve the right to cancel this auction.
