Vehicle Detail

****We are relisting this due to a deadbeat Ebayer who bid numerous times throughout the auction and has never contacted us or paid for the car. If you have under 10 feedbacks - please email me first. We are good honest people selling a very nice car in very good original condition and do not have time for these games. Scammers and dishonest people - please move on! Thank you for looking at our car and good luck! The new owner will be very happy with this car! We are selling our 1978 Lincoln Mark V that we purchased out of an Estate. It has had 2 owners it's entire life until this year when we bought it. My father had one just like it when I was young and I always loved it. We had a chance to buy it and could not pass up the opportunity to relive some neat memories. We are downsizing our current home and will not have room in the near future for the extra car that is as long as a football field! The car has always been garaged in sunny dry Phoenix Arizona. It has a true and verified 48,841 actual mile and has NEVER been involved in an accident. There is not a spec of rust or corrosion anywhere on the car. The interior, luckily has the nice plush cloth, as usually the Leather interior optioned cars of this vintage have issues with the seats cracking and drying out and are VERY expensive to repair. The interior is really in amazing condition. The only thing I have noted that does not work is the clock. The Power Antenna works and the Original 8-track in still in the trunk with cases full of 8 tracks! The car has perfect scratch free glass and the moonroof works like day one. There is a car cover and car show plaques in the trunk. The Padded Top and rear hump have very soft and damage free Vinyl which is a testiment to the car spending most of it's life indoors. The chrome is pit free and again looks like new. Under the hood is a time capsule. All the original Chalk markings and grease pen marks are sill present and look like a 2 year old car. the Engine has NEVER been steam cleaned and all the original decals are still in place. When you start the car - it it extremely smooth and runs like a few year old car. The AC blows very cold and there are no mechanical issues that we have noticed. The does not drip a drop of any fluids. That in itself is amazing! The tires look almost new but I am sure are a few years old. No cracks or dry rot and they are good quality luxury car tires. The only body damage present is what caused the car to be parked and sold to us. The Drivers fender very minorly grazed the garage door of the previous elderly owner's home and the molding got scuffed and scraped. There is absolutely no damage to the Bumper and just a very slight indent on the front fender that can most likely be repaired with no filler and with paintless dent. The Wire Wheel cap center cap was knocked off and we have purchased an NOS Wheel cover to replace it. The Drivers side rear tail light has a crack in it. The Metallic Light blue paint is in very good presentable condition for being 100% original and untouched. It is very shiney yet and with some wax or buffing and detailing it will look great. The Eurathane Bumper fillers are very soft and flexible and look vey good and straight. These are usually brittle and missing on most of these cars. We love this car and you can tell everyone who has been around the car for the last 33 years have loved it to. you just do not see cars like this than have not been all redone and that are just well preserved. I cannot describe how nice of a driving car this is. Having only 48K original miles, it drives very tight and smooth. I am available to answer any and all questions about the car and will show the car to anyone who wants to come see it. you can call Tom 480 529-3700. I have the car for sale locally and will consider offers. You will not be disappointed with this car. Good lock and Happy Bidding!
