Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a 1932 Ford Sport Coupe that was originally done by Posie. We decided to update this car and now have lost interest in the project. This Posie body has alot of cool mods with the rear fuel tank cover with licence plate used as a gas door. We took the soft top off the car and made it a hard top as you can see. The car needs one more coat of primer, another blocking than its ready for paint. I have the Hot Rod Flatz matte black paint to go with, as well as the primer. Other than the body and frame, pretty much eveything else has been replaced for new parts. The frame, rear end, and other chassis parts are all powder coated in matte black. The motor is a Bill Mitchell 427 using the Man O War block with steel heads. This motor makes around 485 per Bill Mitchell and has about 300 miles on it. It uses a HEI distribitor and I have some custom lake headers for it. I've installed a brand new Afco Aluminium radiator to cool the motor. The transmission is a new B&M AOD, with new 10in converter. The frame has been changed over to a new Heidt mustang II style front end with coil overs, and the frame in the rear was converted to 4 link with coil overs. The front brakes are Wilwood brakes and it has a new Flaming River steering rack. The new 9in rear end is stuffed with new Strange 3rd member, Strange axles, and Wilwood disc brakes on the ends. I have a new Idiot steering colomn, new gauges, 12in Lokar shifter, Billet Specialties steering wheel. The wheels have been powder coated red and are new Wheel Smith smoothies with baby moon caps. The tires are Firestones with the rear ones being pic crust slicks. All new Aeroquip lines have been used. All you really need is a wiring harnes, and the interior to the car and thats about it. I was going to run bombers seats with the interior done in flashing. All have all the original body parts still in the original yellow paint that are mostly sanded down ready for primer. This is a fiberglass Posie body not steel just to be clear. I have a clear and free title and will provide a bill of sale. The car is sold as is. Any questions let me know. The freight is up to the buyer to arrange for, I will help load the car and parts. Thanks for looking. On Jul-18-11 at 03:46:05 PDT, seller added the following information: If you need more pictures please let me know. On Jul-18-11 at 08:59:25 PDT, seller added the following information: Just to be clear the yellow car is what it looked like before the revamp, as you can see the by going on Posie's web site you'll see the car in his projects from over the years. The car does have power windows which I forgot to list.
