Up for auction today is a fully loaded 2005 chrysler crossfire limited convertible roadster. It has the 3.2L v6 with a 6 speed manual transmission, heated leather seats, navigation, power everything. Unfortunately this car needs some work. It had a VERY LIGHT dash fire due to an improperly installed aftermarket alarm system which melted the instrument cluster and dash wiring. I have already removed the entire dash and have 90% of the parts to repair but unfortunately I just do not have the time. It will need a windshield and drivers door panel and some miscellaneous trim pieces like the sunvisors, header trim and rear view mirror. I have a new dash, cluster, wiring harness and all of the necessary trim. This car will need to be towed, the tires are like new and there is absolutely nothing wrong with the exterior of the car at all. The convertible top is in excellent condition as well as all of the body parts with no damage of any kind on them. The fire was more of a smoldering fire and not flaming so damage was contained to the interior. The title is CLEAR on this car and ready to go. Anyone is welcome to come to my house for a preliminary inspection of the car prior to bidding as it is safely stored in my garage. I am located in Arnold,MO just south of St. Louis on I-55. I am offering this car with NO RESERVE, but I reserve the right to end the auction early as I have it listed for sale in multiple locations including the local newspaper so auction may end at any time. Please contact me with any questions you have and thanks for looking and good luck!On Jul-19-11 at 21:24:35 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added before and after pictures of the dash damage because I have had several people asking about what parts I have for the car, whats damaged, whats missing, etc. I have the complete dash including wiring harness, cluster and all trim pieces. Actually nothing from the center console over to the passenger side was touched at all. The carpet still has the plastic protection on it. The only thing you would need to complete this car would be a drivers door panel, windshield,sunvisors, header trim, rear view mirror and a-pillar moldings. Everything comes with the car including the old dash parts and all of the new dash parts. Once completed there would be no problem selling this car for 15k plus.
