do you need a project that will actually be worth more than what it takes to restore. well...... here it is. I have a very rare 1970 camaro with the ultra rare L78 option. only 600 were built. please refer to http://www.nastyz28.com/camaro/camaro70.php for options and production numbers. and best of all this car is well documented. I am told I am only the third owner. I have the protecto plate, dealer order sheet, dealer pdi sheet and and the origanal window sticker . this car was special ordered in febuary of 1970. I have removed the fuel tank and seats looking for the build sheet hoping to find it but no luck. not sure if it was put anywhere else. this car is 90% all there and all origanal. origanal paint, origanal rear end ( numbers matching) origanal transmission (numbers matching also) engine only includes the correct CTX coded block with 3969854 casting number. all shown in photo is included. engine block only. I do have the source which I can provide at close of auction which has the correct heads and intake for the car. what you see is what you get . here are a couple of examples of restored values on hemmings. http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/?adtype=&makeFacet=Chevrolet&modelFacet=Camaro&q=1970+l78 . this car has lived in california its whole life and has very little rust. just the most common spots like the dash corners and the rear window. frame rails and floor are in great condition. please refer to all the pics and i hope i have taken enough to answer all your questions. she is no bueaty queen but she can be . I own a 350hp car and that was the code on that block. the block that comes with this car is decked so there are no stampings. sorry for any confusion this may have caused.
