I am selling my rust free1988 Scirocco 16 valve that has been sitting in my garage for the past four years. I purchased it in Northern California from a young lady in 2003 and since it was in such great shape I had planned on keeping it. But I have moved to Texas and it is just sitting in my garage. The car has about 175K original miles. The engine is original, stock and runs great. I installed bilstein shocks with brand new H&R race springs, Corrrado G60 BBS rims, front and rear European bumpers, Corrado seats, and dyno max muffler. This car is in great shape with no rust, it does not have a sunroof, which is very desirable for racers. The original paint is still good. When I purchased it I noticed that the driver door had been repaired so I replaced it with a nicer one but the molding is missing. It also appears as though the front edge of the rear quarter was slightly damaged and repaired as seen in the picture. I drove this car around when I went to California earlier this year and it drove fine. I think it will need a fuel pump soon since it was making a little noise. I have a rabbit that was sitting and I had to replace the fuel pump so I think that can be expected. I am almost certain it will also need a battery soon. My neighbor has the signed title. I will not ship the car, but my neighbor will assist if the winning bidder arranges to have it shipped.
