Vehicle Detail

Watch the Video of the bike running. It sat overnight, and fired right up, no choke. www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0Ewg7WX55U Up for auction is a beautiful 1975 Honda CB360T. This original bike is incredibly clean and runs and rides great. It always gets alot of attention at the local motorcycle breakfasts, people are always taking pictures and giving me compliments on it's condition. I've owned the bike since Sept. 2009, and have put on approx. 1100 miles since owning it. The bike is always a pleasure to ride, handles great, and has never left me stranded. It cruises easily with the flow of traffic since it has a 6 speed, and revs around 4500 or so at 55 MPH. The engine fires right up with the button or by kicking it. When it's warm outside the bike will fire right up without the choke even if it sits a couple days. It just fires right up and just purrs. The bike has all original paint, even the frame, which is so clean and shiny that you would think it was repainted. I touched in a small spot at the right rear footpeg mount, you would never know it, and the right side engine cover I repainted, however that's it, all the rest is original. The body work paint is beautiful and all original. There is just the slightest ding in the tank at the top left, you probably can't even locate it in the pictures. You almost have to be in the right lighting to see it in person it's that minor. There are however a couple small battery acid marks in the tank, right in front of the seat, I have them pictured. They are minor. The chrome is overall excellent. The exhaust headpipes and clamps were replated, and the mufflers are aftermarket, however look great on the bike. Plus they make the bike sound really good. They are packable mufflers, so it can easily be made quiet. The chrome on the front fender is kind of hazy and has surface scratches possibly from steelwool, otherwise the rest of the chrome is great. All of the lights and switches work like they should. The brakes work great and it has new front brake pads and I rebuilt the front master cylinder. Everything on the bike works just like it should. The speedometer needle will sometimes fluctuate while cruising and other times it's steady, I never really worried about it and the trip odometer works perfect. I should also mention that the left side head gasket is just starting to seep, after a full day of riding there will be a film of oil, not a puddle, about 1-2 inches long on the left of the cylinder. It's been like that since I bought it, I never worried about it, it doesn't affect the running of the bike, it doesn't smoke or smell and it hasn't gotten any worse. I just simply wipe it off with a paper towl after I get home from a ride. A complete NOS engine gasket set is included with the sale of the bike in case it bothers you and you want to fix it. I am trying to be as honest as possible with the good and bad of the bike, I know how it feels when you bid on something and it isn't as described, especially when you waste a complete day traveling to pick it up. Since owning the bike I have replaced the handlebars, which are lower than factory, and look better in my opinion, plus they are comfortable. I replaced the mirrors with a single chrome bar end mirror. The mirrors that were on it when I bought it are included, but they aren't original. I completely disassembled the forks, cleaned them and polished the aluminum, installed new seals and set the oil height to factory specs. I removed the right engine side cover to clean the centrifical oil filter, and installed new clutch springs and a side cover gasket. I replaced the points and condensors, set the point gap and the ignition timing to factory specs. Adjusted the valves to factory specs. Adjusted the timing chain tensioner. Completely disassembled the carburetors, had the bodies ultrasonically cleaned, and re-assembled with a carb rebuild kit, then syncronized the carbs. It idles perfect. Just changed oil with Maxima 10W-40 motorcycle oil. Battery is new. Completely new Rick's Charging System, which consists of a new stator, and voltage regulator/rectifier, and all wiring. The inside of the gas tank has the POR15 gas tank sealer in it. I spent a lot of time prepping it and doing it right. It had some surface rust in the tank, and I wasn't about to get rust debris in the rebuilt carburetors. The gas tank cap seal is also new. I replaced the gas tank petcock (fuel valve) with a NOS one. New fuel lines and filters. Replaced the front sprocket with a one tooth bigger sprocket (very hard to find) so the bike can cruise a little better, the original is included. Both tires and tubes were put on right before I bought it. The tires are Bridgestone and look very close to the originals, the rear tire is also half an inch wider than stock. I removed the original center kickstand because I never used it and I don't like how it looks. It's included in the auction with all mounting hardware. The original owners manual and tool pouch with all the tools are in the bike. Overall a great bike to own and ride. I also have a Suzuki sportbike and it was too uncomfortable with a passenger, so I bought this bike for a spare, that way my wife could go on the back. The bike rides completely fine with a passenger, you would never know someones on the back. I recently purchased a 73 Kawasaki Z1, which is a bike I've always wanted to own, and now that's my spare bike. So this one has to be sold. Local bidders please let me know if you want to see the bike in person. As for payment, I will only accept cash in person. I can store the bike covered in my garage for up to 30 days after the auction ends, but I will need a $250.00 non-refundable deposit through paypal within 7 days of auction end. Then the remaining amount paid with cash upon pickup. If you have any questions about this please contact me. Title is also clear and in my name. Bike is currently registered and insured so the mileage may go up a little On Jul-12-11 at 18:11:22 PDT, seller added the following information: This bike has also has had the chain tensioner recall done to it indicated by the 2 punch marks at the engine vin number. Thanks glennwood55cameo for bringing it to my attention
