Up for sale is a 1979 VW Bug Super Beetle. It is river blue metalic with black interior. The engine was rebuilt about 1500 miles ago from what I was told and it was converted from fuel injection to carb. The car runs and drives and everything does work on the car. The car does need a new convertible top and some body work but you can drive it as you work on it. There is no carpet but I do have a brand new black carpet set for it. The front seats wil need to be recovered as well. The is some rust bubbling under the paint in a few spots and the lower doors will need to be replaced. These cars restored on Ebay can go for upwards of 8 to 15k depending on color and from my understanding this color is fairly rare with about 6000 made. I have only had the car a short time and know very little about Bugs but it is a super cool car. I recently added more pics per a few requests regarding the floors. The floors are solid with minor surface rust. The discolartion you see in the pics of the floors is dirt and there are no holes are spots that are rusted through. I also had someone locally that was interested take a look at it and from what he told me it is an air conditioned car. This also appears to be the original paint from what I can tell as there are no masking lines in the door jams, trunk, and hood.
