Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Before listing a vehicle on ebay, I personally road test each one so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based on the findings of my road test. The information contained within this description is correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic. Please read the entire description and review all photos carefully before bidding or asking questions. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a great running 1999 GMC Jimmy SLT (Envoy SLT). This loaded up example is finished in a two tone pewter exterior with charcoal leather interior. I would rate the exterior of this GMC as AVERAGE. As you can see, this is a good looking truck. There are no major scratches, dents or other blemishes that I could find. I didn't see any rust on the body either. The drivers door hinges are sagging (typical of these trucks) and the plastic trim gets caught on the rocker skirting at the passenger side rear door when you open it. All of the glass and lenses are in tact. The headlights could use buffed with that stuff they sell that removes haze. The wheels show some scratches and dust residue. The tires should have another year or two in them. Again, overall this is a good looking truck. I would rate the interior of this truck as AVERAGE. The door panel for the drivers door is loose from the aforementioned sagging door hinge issue. The leather seats are in good condition and show minimal wear. The power drivers seat is inoperable. The cargo area is spacious and clean. This is a very well optioned vehicle and comes with a locking rear differential, tow setting as well as power windows, locks and mirrors. The climate control is fully automatic. The air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. The stereo is the original premium CD system that sounds great. This truck comes with a complete set of owners manuals, misc. service records and the original $33,000 window sticker. Mechanically, this GMC seems to run very well. The mighty Vortec 4.3L engine starts right up and runs smoothly. I have driven this vehicle a few times. During my road test(s), I observed that the engine holds perfect temperature and excellent (the best I've seen in a while, actually) oil pressure. I observed no leaks. The suspension feels nice and tight. The steering is also tight and responsive. The brakes stop the truck very well. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts as it should. The 4WD system is engaged at the touch of a button. The only thing I know this truck will need mechanically is a new wheel bearing up front. This costs about $150 to have done. It's just starting to make some noise and my mechanic says it should last another few months before it's an issue. This is a nice, strong running Vortec with great oil pressure. These engines are known to sometimes lose compression and power over time. This one feels like a runner and the great oil pressure backs that up. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
