This is a 1969 Chevrolet Nova that i bought recently as a factory L78. There is no paper work to prove what the car really is. It does have all the big block traits ( big block radiator support, big block heater box, big block trans crossmember as well as a single 3/8 fuel line. It also has a factory L78 tach, close ratio muncie four speed, 12 bolt posi rearend. It currently has a fairly stout 406 small block with a factory Gm aluminum intake. The car runs very strong. It has power steering and disk brakes. Car has old school slapper bars and a Lakewood scattershield. The tach and under dash gauges all work. Engine holds good oil pressure. The original color is butternut yellow with black bucket seat custom interior. The floors are very nice except a couple of small areas in the drivers front floor. The trunk is also solid as well. Underneath car is solid with nice frame rails. It needs both quarters and patchwork on fenders and a couple of small spots on the doors. I have only had the car a short time so I do not know anymore about the car than I was told. I have compared it to my 69 L78 Nova and it has all the same factory big block parts. I do believe this is a true L78 car since back in the day no one changed radiator supports or even crossmembers. This is a project and needs to be restored. It does run and drive so you could drive while restoring it. Car is sold as in no warranty.
