Vehicle Detail

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over what a retail dealer might ask for a similar vehicle. Before listing a vehicle on ebay, I personally road test it so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based on the findings of my road test. The information contained within this description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic. If you would like to see this vehicle in person before bidding, just ask. I would be happy to arrange a time to meet you at my warehouse so you can see and drive it in person. An administrative fee of $99 will be added to the final bid of each auction. All vehicles are sold "as-is" and "as-traded". Unless specifically stated otherwise, I do not service or recondition any vehicle prior to sale. Any known faults are fully disclosed. Please read the entire description and review all photos carefully before bidding or asking questions. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a great looking 2000 Ford Focus SE sedan. This black beauty has been tastefully modified. It has a very subtle body kit, lowered suspension, a cold air intake, an exhaust of some kind and a short throw shifter. I would rate the exterior of this Focus as AVERAGE. The side skirts of the body kit are a little loose (this is normal) and there is a small dent on the hood which you can barely see. Otherwise, I think this car looks great considering that black is a hard color to keep nice. It does have some miles so don't be shocked if you find some little scratches here and there but she looks very good for the most part. As expected with a lowered car, the insides of the tires are wearing faster than the outside. Two are worn significantly in the inside and should be replaced (or you could rotate...putting tires on opposite rims...to get more life)...the other two are okay. All of the lenses and glass appear to be in tact. The windows have been professionally tinted and look great with the exception of a small nick on the drivers rear window. I would rate the interior of this Ford as AVERAGE. The interior is very clean for the miles. The door panels are clean and in tact. The carpets are full and clean throughout. The seats are clean, comfortable and show no significant signs of wear throughout. There is a small hole in each of the door panels where it looks like an aftermarket tweeter has been removed. It doesn't really effect anything...it's just "there". I cannot get the radio to turn on. It is a Sony X-plod CD player. I don't see a button marked "power". Maybe I'm missing something or maybe my age is showing but I can't get it to work. The air conditioner blows cold air. The only thing the climate control system needs is a new resistor or fan switch (less than $20 each). Right now, the fan only blows on high. Not a big fix... The factory remote entry works as it should. Mechanically, this Focus appears to be in good condition. I will admit, this is my first Focus so I am not an expert on these cars. The 2.0L Zetec engine starts easily and seems to run fine. I drove this car for two days solid and it drives decent for the miles. During my time driving it, the engine held perfect temperature and there were no warning lights on. I don't think it will need much mechanically. Something feels a little loose in front. I suspect a mount may need replaced. The can be had for about $40 each or you can get a whole new set right here on ebay (auction# 190383741213) for just over $100. The suspension feels nice and tight and makes this car corner excellently. The steering is tight and responsive like it should be. The brakes feel great and stop the car with absolutely no drama. The clutch feels good and gear changes are nice and smooth. The short throw shifter makes gear changes a snap. The exhaust sounds good (not too loud) and there is a Zetec cold air intake, too. She drives pretty nice on the highway with just a slight pull to the right. There is a humming noise in the back which I believe is coming from the two tires that need replaced. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
