!970 Dodge Challenger Convertible. This will always be my favorite vehicle ever made. Burnt Orange is the original color. Originally this car was a 318, a/c, front disc brake car. It has a 340 currently. A/C is present but has not worked since I've owned the car ( 7 years ). It has an oval air cleaner as well a dual snorkle air cleaner. It has an original 1970 T/A hood (very rare with mesh and squirters) as well as original rear spoiler and chin spoilers. Badged as a R/T but it's not. It also has a very rare body side molding. Rear rims are 15", fronts are 14". Car comes with a restored set of 4 15" rallies with no tires. I have a goodmark power bulge hood in the box included. This is a driver not a show car. The front doors and fenders are rust free. The rockers and rear quarters have a few bubbles starting were bondo had been used. The trunk has a few small holes. The floor pans are solid. The car was under coated. The top was down most of it's life before I owned it so the outside corners by the frame have stretched and one has a small hole. The top works perfectly. The dash pad is cracked and from a 1971. The rest of the interior is correct, but different colored pieces all interior painted Tan. Seats were recovered to match the tan color. Vin tag is present. A/C cars have the big block core support. The engine bay is very original without any modifications. Exhaust is the high performance manifolds to canisters to mufflers to trumpet tips. This is not a race car but a reliable driver that always starts and drives. Trans is a 727 torque flight, rear end is a 355 gear 8 3/4. Does this car need work? Absolutely, can you drive it for the next 5 years without touching it, Absolutely. I don't have to sell my Challenger, so please no games. All funds will need to clear before this car moves.The title is in hand and clear, no salvage no rebuild. The previous owner had the car for ten years, that's the only history i know. The T/A hood is currently on the car.
