HISTORY/CONDITION: Current Condition: The Body is Straight and the Paint Job Looks Amazing. The Alignment is perfect; the Air conditioning blows COLD with the original R12 Freon. The transmission and motor are strong and don't miss a beat! All Electrical Components work and the car is sound. History: Before we purchased it, this beautiful car was involved in an unfortunate but very Minor Collision to the Left Front (See Pics 23&24). US insurance companies have been writing off crashed 6's instead of repairing them and increasing the attrition of rates of collectable 6er's with clean provenance. This is primarily due to high parts costs and parts unavailability. That was the case with this 635. Consequently, it was sold at auction with a Salvage Title! This is where I purchased the car, and I paid top dollar for it! Fortunately, I own a professionally licensed auto-body repair shop and my father owns a used auto parts dismantling yard. He has three 6-series that he is wrecking out for parts. Through our combined resources, we were able to restore this 635 back to perfect condition! The nature of the collision, in that it was purely cosmetic damage means that the integrity of the car was never compromised! We did repaint the whole car, however, because it was faded and had small dings in some areas. PRICING/ CONTACT INFO: If this 635 had a clean title, it would easily be worth $10,000, but I am realistic and serious about selling it so that is why I am Pricing it to Move! I know these cars inside and out, as this is the seventh 6-series I have restored and sold. The bottom line is If you want to enjoy a pure-bred, rare 6-series and not have to pay a premium for it, than this is the car for you!
