This is a 71 firebird trans am clone. It was done a few years ago and showing its age however is a very solid driver and very well kept. I bought it as you see except for the wheels which I bought when they came out from year one. The car has a 400 with an auto but I was working on tracking down the four speed conversion parts and I have most of them. I also have the stock ralley wheels and new leaf springs for the rear. The car gets a lot of attention wherever it goes. As a driver quality car it is something I had planned on enjoying while also being able to tinker with a little bit. The wiring all works however could be cleaned up. The previous owner put switches in for the radiator fans and the heater. With countless people messing with the car over the years I planned on putting in the new painless wiring harness that just came out for 70-73 F body cars. It has a four core aluminum radiator and what I'm told is a carb that is too big for the car, a holley double pumper. It runs well but I have a feeling it should be a little faster? I don't know the history of the car where it was from but from the underside it hasn't seen too much salt. Very solid car and the body is showing signs of the older refresh. It could use seat covers and carpet but the headliner and visors and dash cap along with the shifter area is in good shape. Any questions ask, I've been out driving the car and enjoying the nice weather but I'm looking forward to a shift in jobs come fall and I know that will be a tougher market to sell. I spent a lot of time looking for this car and I had a hard time finding driver quality cars, it seems either they have a shell for 3k or a fully restored one for 60-wasn't much in between. This is something you can be proud to drive.
