Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Before listing a vehicle on ebay, I personally road test each one so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based on the findings of my road test. The information contained within this description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic. If you would like to come see this vehicle in person before bidding, just ask! I would be happy to arrange a time to meet you at my storage facility so you can see it with your own eyes. Please read the entire description carefully before bidding or asking questions. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very clean 1997 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series. This Lincoln is presented in a very attractive white over gray two tone exterior with a matching white over gray leather interior for a very sharp look. I would rate the exterior of this Lincoln as ABOVE AVERAGE. You should expect to find some evidence of minor wear around the body but I could find nothing really worth mentioning. There are no notable scratches, dents, scuffs and I could find no rust. As you can see in the photos, the paint shines well from every angle and the chrome is in good condition. All of the glass and lenses appear to be in tact. The wheels are in good shape and the tires have a little less than 50% tread left. I buy every clean Town Car I can find. They are great cars that last and last which make them an excellent value. I would rate the interior of this Town Car as ABOVE AVERAGE. As you can see, the seats are very clean and show no signs of excessive wear. The door panels are all in tact and all of the buttons do what they are supposed to do. The sunroof does work properly ( I had it open when I was driving it) but I broke the switch while taking the photographs. I reached in from the outside to slide it back and I pressed the wrong part of the switch. When it didn't do what I wanted...I pressed it harder and broke the switch. There are no common electrical issues with this beautiful Lincoln. The windows, locks, seats, mirrors and lights all work as intended. The carpets are in good condition as is the headliner. The stereo is original and works/sounds excellent. There is also a 10 disc factory Cd changer in the trunk along with a full sized spare on an alloy wheel that matches the other four. The climate control is working properly and blows ice cold air. The original owners manual and service book are still in the glove box. The service manual has just about every service filled in since new with detailed notes. You get an original remote for the factory remote entry system and three keys. Mechanically, this Lincoln appears to be in excellent condition as you would expect. The powerfull 4.6L V8 under the hood is shared with the Mustang GT, F150 and is almost identical to the engine used in Police cars. They are known to run in excess of 300k with proper care. This 4.6 starts right up and runs smoothly and quietly. I did not see any leaks. She makes great power and accellerates to highway speeds without breaking a sweat. Out on the open road, she cruises easy like a Town Car should. During my road test, the engine held proper operating temperature and there were no warning lights on. Over bumps, the suspension and steering are both nice and tight as they should be. The brakes stop the car very well and show no signs of pulsation. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. This is a very well put together car in a rare color combination with great miles. Drive anywhere with confidence.
