A real classic! 1979 Pinto station wagon. This vehicle was a daily driver for a lady until she got too blind to drive. She only drove it around 2000 miles each year! It's been in New Mexico the entire time, so rust is not an issue. It was kept under a carport and out of the elements. I've installed a new battery, wiper blades, serpentine belt, seat covers, and floor mats. Being a 2.3L engine, it gets great gas mileage. The front seats could be re-upholstered, but the seat covers work well. The original carpet under the front floor mats is gone, but was told the entire interior carpeting can be replaced for around $100. The headliner is perfect except that there is about a 5-inch section where it came unstitched, but is not torn. It has a working 8-track player, so you know it's vintage! The tires were recently added by the original owner, as was a new alternator. This was the deluxe interior as it has a faux wooden shifter instead of the typical black knob I remember having in my family's as a kid. It's been well kept, though there are some very minor dents on it which could easily be repaired with little difficulty if you wanted it perfect.
