Offered for sale is a freshly restored 1966 VW Beetle. This car has less than 200 miles on nearly everything. I have receipts for almost $8500, and that doesn't include the paint, tires, or battery. I also have a small photo album of the car showing it completely disassembled. The folder of paperwork and the pictures go with the car. The entire engine was rebuilt, along with with the transmission. It has brand new heads, new clutch, new brakes, all new suspension, new exhaust, new tires, new electrical, new lights, new interior, new paint, new weather stripping, new seat belts, new stereo, new carpet, new door panels, new headliner, new, new, new. You get the idea. Everything is either new or rebuilt. Receipts and photos will prove what has been done. This Beetle has a single port engine, and starts as quickly as you can bump the key. Every component has been gone through and its amazing how the engine sounds. No leaks, no problems. It has working lights, turn signals, brake lights, interior lights, etc. 5 new matching tires on what I believe is a "one year only" wheel. Even though it is considered an amateur restoration, its a great looking car with a gorgeous interior and excellent mechanicals. It has a beautiful floorpan that was rust-free prior to the restoration, and has been painted as it was reassembled. It looks just as good underneath as it does from the top. It will make a nice car for someone without anything needing to be done. It has been driven less than 200 miles, and the owner is ready to sell it and move on to another project.
