2002 Corvette Convertible. I have owned this car since 2006, I am the second owner of the car and have put about 5-8k miles on it myself, weekend trips etc. We have always kept this in our garage. This car makes driving fun again! Because of some recent changes in prioritys, I have come to the difficult decision to sell. First everything on the car works perfectly to the best of my knowledge. AC is cold, heater works great, power windows, flawless, radio and cd player perfect, head lights very smooth up and down, etc. There are no negative mechanical issues of any kind of which I am aware. Tires are good at 60-80% conservative. The interior is in good to very good condition with no holes, etc in leather seats, the exterior in about the same with some of the typical light surface scuffs in the clear coat, which would come out with a little work I am sure (I tried to photo these didnt want to try and hide em with black wax :) , see pics). Rag top - perfect. I made an effort to get good close up pics of any defects of any kind so look at the pictures closely. Now for the good stuff. This car is awesome to drive. It is not at all like the ole c4 with all the rattles when you hit bumps. This is very tight, handling is unbelievable, its glued to the road and very smooth. The dealership who had this when new payed for an upgrade kit which includes a Vortec supercharger and performance exhaust for this car. I presume this must be similar to the aftermarket Mustang Roush system. This car has more hp than the newer C6 cars with 550 hp at the wheels. It is very tame and runs like a normal Corvette for every day driveing. Matter of fact this car WILL get 25mpg on the highway and you will notice absolutely no difference in the sound of the motor (ie choppy muscle car sound) or excesively radical or uncontrolable excellaration. The Vortec upgrade cost over 10K and fits in very nicely, ie as factory equipment with no modifications to hood, etc. There are no negatives to the supercharger and some say it adds to the life of an engine. It makes the car run better and more efficently. I have never experienced an issue of any kind with the car related to the dealership upgrades.
