Vehicle Detail

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over what a retail dealership might ask for a similar vehicle. Before listing a vehicle on ebay, I personally road test it so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based on the findings of my road test. The information contained within this description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic. If you would like to come see this vehicle in person before bidding, just ask. I would be happy to arrange a time to meet you at my storage facility so you can see it with your own eyes before bidding. An administrative fee of $99 will be added to the final bid of each auction. All vehicles are sold "as-is" and "as-traded". Unless specifically stated otherwise, I do not service or recondition any vehicle prior to sale. Any known faults are fully disclosed. Please read the entire description carefully before bidding or asking questions. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a nice little Volkswagen Cabrio. This one is finished in special order Sequoia Green and complimented with a light tan leather interior and black top with alloy wheels. As you can see, this is a great looking little car. I would rate the exterior of this Cabrio as ABOVE AVERAGE. Except for a loose molding on the drivers door and a crack in the front bumper, I couldn't really find much to complain about as far as the exterior goes. Usually, these cars get used pretty hard but this one looks to be in very good condition. It's obvious that someone took great care of it. The top looks to be newer and shows no signs of wear. The tires are nearly new all around. I will let the pictures tell the rest. Again, she isn't perfect but in far better condition than most others out there. I would also rate the interior of this Cabrio as ABOVE AVERAGE. Other than some usual wear on the drivers seat, the interior looks to be pretty well kept. The carpets are pretty clean and full looking throughout. The seats don't show any signs of fade or other sun related wear. The convertible top cover is also included. There is a complete set of owners books in the glove box as well as the original window sticker and some misc. service receipts. The stereo has been upgraded to an Alpine high end CD player. It sounds like sound is not coming out of the right speakers but I couldn't figure out how to adjust the radio. The climate control appears to be working properly and the air conditioner is freezing cold. The front seats are also heated which is nice for those cold mornings. This is a Volkswagen so here is what doesn't work, lol.......None of the windows will raise or lower with the switches in the car. However, all windows DO raise and lower with the key convenience feature...so the motors, regulators, ect all work and the windows do go up and down...just not with the interior switches. It actually sounds like a simple fix but electronics are out of my league. There is actually a large amount of storage space with the top up. Mechanically, this Cabrio seems to be in good running condition. The tough little 2.0L engine starts right up and idles smoothly. I saw no leaks coming from this car. As you can see, the engine bay is very clean and looks to be well taken care of. During my test drive, it drove very well. The engine kept normal operating temperature and there were no warning lights on. The suspension feels nice and tight. The brakes stop the car well and with no unusual noises. The steering is tight and responsive as it should be. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts like it should. There are no known mechanical issues with this car. These little cars are a blast to drive, get great economy and run forever. Owning a Volkswagen is like being in a relationship. It is very rewarding but can be frustrating at times. If you've owned other VW's ( I have owned more than I can count) you know exactly what I mean. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
