Up for auction is a 1999 Cadillac SLS with 131xxx miles. This is a mechanics special in my opinion. Cadillacs are notorious for head gasket problems, but I did a block test on this one and it passed. When I first purchased the car it overheated, but it was due to the water pump belt being broke. I replaced the water pump belt, but was too lazy to replace the water pump and it still overheated after a period of time. I believe it either needs a water pump or radiator. My mechanic told me he doesn't think the coolant is circulating. The other known problem is that the windows do not work. When I bought this car at the auction the windows worked, but now none of them do. This could be a relatively easy fix as well. The a/c needs a charge also. I just don't have the time and effort to throw parts onto this car. The car does run and drive!!
