Vehicle Detail

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering traded in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions could save you thousands over what a retail dealer might ask for a similar vehicle. Before listing a vehicle on ebay, it is personally road tested by me so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. The description you are about to read is my honest opinion of this vehicle based on the findings of my road test. The information contained in this description is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and ability but cannot be guaranteed as I am not a mechanic. If you would like to come see this vehicle in person before bidding, just ask. I would be happy to arrange a time to meet you at my storage facility so that you can put your own eyes on it. An administrative fee of $99 will be added to the final bid of each auction. All vehicles are sold "as-is" and "as-traded". Unless specifically stated otherwise, I do not service or recondition any vehicle prior to sale. Any known faults are fully disclosed. Please read the entire description carefully before bidding or asking questions. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a fairly hard to find full sized Chevy Blazer. I would rate the condition of the exterior of this Blazer as AVERAGE for a truck of this age and miles. Overall, she doesn't look too bad but there is probably not a single panel that you can't find a scratch, dent, ect... These trucks get used hard and wear is expected. There is some advanced rust present on the tail gate. I believe one of the hinges is rusted through, too. It still opens and closes but it feels like one of the hinges is off and you can see rust there. Otherwise, there isn't much bad rust. The rocker panels are clean and I didn't notice any major rust on the fenders. There is a normal amount of surface rust on the axle, frame, ect...but nothing out of the ordinary. All of the glass and lenses appear to be in tact. There is a receiver hitch installed for towing (I think these are rated over 6,000lbs tow weight). The tires are less than half tread but not totally worn out. I think they would pass PA inspection but I don't know every states laws. Like I said, this is a decent looking older truck. It shows it's age and is far from perfect but is in decent shape compared to others I've seen. I would rate the interior of this Blazer as ABOVE AVERAGE. The carpets are pretty clean and full looking. The seats are all in good condition and show no rips or other significant wear. The headliner is clean and in tact. The door panels are both in tact. The stereo has been upgraded to a CD player which sounds ok. The heater works as it should. The dash is clean and there are no cracks. The cargo area is spacious and clean. There isn't much to say about the inside. It's a comfortable ride for an older truck. Everything inside seems to be working as it should. Mechanically, this one seems like a strong one. The combination of a 350ci engine matched to a 700R transmission is a hard set up to kill. This engine starts right up and runs well. I didn't see any noteworthy leaks. During the few times I've driven this truck, it has held excellent oil pressure and kept a cool engine temperature. The brakes feel good. It drives nice and strait and will cruise down the highway at 70mph no problem. The steering is nice and tight. I can hear a little noise coming from the front right so it may need a new shock or a bushing of some sort but the suspension feels pretty tight otherwise. The transmission shifts well and both low and high range 4wd appear to be working. The exhaust sounds like it might have a small hole but it's not super loud. Again, she feels like a solid old Chevy. The ABS light comes on once in a while. Otherwise, there are no known mechanical issues. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
