No reserve auction...1968 Opel Kadett Rallye was just pulled from a barn this past Monday, it has been parked there since 1985. This is a very rare find and hardly find these cars complete on ebay. When I got the Opel home I put a battery in the car, freed up the rear driver side brake ( emergency brake was left on), sprayed some WD-40 into spark plug holes, gravity fed some gas into the carburetor and it FIRED UP with no hesitation. Runs through a four gears just fine. Lights work, wipers work. All four tires hold air pressure and the car moves freely. Interior of Opel is in good condition dash very good condition, all gauges work (even the clock works!), drivers seat has small tear, passenger seat is good, head liner is in terrific condition, door panels are in good condition. Exterior is solid... hood, trunk lid, rockers, doors, floors are in good condition, glass is all there and in good condition, chrome trim is decent except for a few pieces in front, both bumpers have pitted chrome, rust is present on lower part of both fenders, passenger side of rear quarter is rusty (see picture). Will need fuel pump and keys and ignition. Overall the car will decent and with a little work would make a nice driver.
