1979 MGB ROADSTER This car is in very nice condition for its age. It drives good, tracks, steers and shifts great. Tires are new with less then 200 miles. No visible leaks. It has power front disc brakes. The hand brake cable is broke and needs replaced. I replaced the plugs, rotor, points and fuel filter. Car runs great. All gauges and warning lights work. Radio is an after market AM/FM/Cassette & plays good. Lights, and signals work. One license light is missing the lens and lamp assembly. All glass is good. 1798cc single carburetor 4 cylinder engine with a 4 speed manual transmission. BODY:The body is in real good shape. No dents or body damage with the exception of two small dings in the hood. The paint is shiny and looks good but does have some blem and scratches. There are some areas where the paint is bubbling but no rust holes. (see pics). The rocker panels are solid as are the floors and trunk. There is some rust on the very bottom edges of the fenders and 1/4's. Not visible unless your laying on the ground. TOP & INTERIOR:The top and cover are in very good condition. No rips, holes or tears. All clips seem to be there. The rear plastic windows are fogged but not damaged or torn.Seats are in nice shape but drivers seat back has a small tear. Dash has a crack. Carpet is OK . Drivers carpet is removed. Door panel have tiny cracks along the top. Otherwise nice. Passengers window crank knob missing. I added a picture of the only rust area under the car. It's on the right side rocker at the front fender. The rest of the under side is solid. It was heavily undercoated from the factory. I tapped around with a hammer and found no other soft spots. I took about 10 more pics. If you wish to see them I can send them to you. Car is listed locally.
